The Mist and the Morning Dew

The Mist and the Morning Dew is a female fronted Doom/Folk group from Finland. I ran across this band a while ago when I first got in to Metal. Don't expect chugging riffs and sick solos, they focus more on the atmosphere of the music then any thing. This is there only real release, a self titled EP. My only compliant is that the vocals are really hard to decipher, but in a way, the soft female vocals add to the dream-like atmosphere that they pant.

Enjoy :)

Spleen V.S. Ideal - Souvenirs

http://www.zshare.net/download/544828778d86deef/

Expect some Fuzz, expect some Noise, expect some Jazz.
Don't expect any english vocals.
Spleen VS Ideal is a two piece of a bass/vocalist and and a drummer.
I liked them more then I thought I would.
There is some total Queens of the Stone Age influence there.

White Witch Canyon - White Witch Canyon

Getting high with the Witch again?

White Witch Canyon are pretty sweet.
Fuzzy stoner from CA.
This is one of those bands that for the longest time
the only way I could hear them was to check there Myspace.
This is there first CD, totally give it a listen.

Oh and if you like it pick it up here.
For $12 dollars you can get a first press release
that is signed by the band.
That's pretty legit to me.

The Black Keys - The Big Come Up

Recorded with equal parts "Broke ass shit" and "Hot ass shit", The Black Keys are a little two piece Blues/Rock group much to the vain of White Stripes, but more straightforward and not as experimental. The songs have a very old school blues feel with a very garage rock sound, I suggest this to any one who likes there music with some damn soul.

Enjoy :)

Down - Nola

Down is a Sludgy/Southern metal group formed in New Orleans, Louisiana by Phil Anselmo who is famous for doing vocals for Pantera. If that turns you off, then belive me when I say this album is better any thing Pantera ever did. Its a non-stop riff fest that will keep your head rocking

Enjoy :)
