This is one of those bands that for the longest time
the only way I could hear them was to check there Myspace.

Queens Of The Stone Age - Songs For The Deaf

There seems to be a theme here.
Basically I'm 100% obsessed with the Queens.

Songs for the Deaf has a radio theme to it.
I think its highly annoying, the theme that is not the music.
Basically before and after some songs
there is a period of "radio chatter".
Those things you hear while surfing channels on the radio.
The reasoning behind there theme comes from Josh and Nicks Kyuss times.
Kyuss would play a lot of generator parties.
They would drive out for miles and miles
into the middle of the desert to play a show.
People would flock to there location and just watch.
But the ride to the show would take hours.
With nothing to see but desert they would shuffle through the radio
to see what they could get out of it.
Which was commonly nothing good.

Super Heavy Goatass are a stoner band from Texas.

They are one of those bands who are
much more musically driven then they are vocally.
But it fits them really well.
Dont get me wrong, the vocals are loud and clear.
Its just so happens that sometimes the only vocals
for an entire song are composed of
"Sweet Home, God Damn, I'm A Mother Fucking Texas Man."
But it works really well for them.

In any case I like them alot.
If anyone has there newer CD "Nemesis"
Or there split with Southern Gun Culture

Alix is one of those bands that never get the credit they deserve
for being as awesome as they are.
Female Fronted Stoner Phyc from Italy.
I've had extreme audio trips to these guys many times now.
This is there first album (2004) with vocals in english.
Honestly these guys are worth checking out.
