Causa Sui

Caunsa Sui is a Psychedelic Rock/Jam group from Denmark. These guys really know how to jam... I also highly suggest this album. Killer fuzzed out riffs, infectious grooves, and a chilled out atmosphere with out fear of getting heavy at times. Stolen from Stonerobi

The Original Slowhand and The Evil Minions - Bring The Funk Back. Please.

This band is fucking great. The Original Slowhand is a Funk band formed by Kiuas vocalist Ilja Jalkanen. If you know who Kiuas is, then your probably asking your self "what the fuck?" about now. Kiuas being a power metal band I asked my self the same question when I first ran across this. He really has a good range if he can get away with singing both Funk/blues and Power Metal. Trust me when I say this, this album is AWESOME in every sense of the word, and you should download this NOW. HIGHLY FUCKING SUGGESTED.

Them Crooked Vultures

Rejoce my children, for your wait is over. This is the real thing, the Them Crooked Vultures album that has been anticipated for god only knows how long. Its good, fucking REAL good. Think a more classic rockish Queens of the Stone Age. I love the song Elephant.

Jesu - Discography

Jesu is Justin K. Broadricks (of Godflesh) brain child. Combining Drone, Post Rock, Shoegaze, Industrial, Ambient and many other influences under one banner. They have been one of my favorite all time bands sense I first laid ears on them back around 05-06. I bring everything they have ever done (minus stupid splits, the ended up releasing the songs on other EPs any how) Download them and enjoy.

Heart Ache EP (2004)
Jesu (2005)
Silver EP (2006)
Conqueror (2007)
Sun Down/Sun Rise (2007)
Pale Sketches (B-Sides 2007)
Lifeline EP (2007)
Why are we not Perfect? EP (2008)

Opiate Sun EP (2009)

Last Rizla

This band approached me about a week ago threw this blog to send me there first recording. Last Rizla is a extremely experimental band hailing from Greece. They kinda remind me of a Causa Sui type of band, but heaver. Expect some heavy, stonerish riffs, with some nice clean tendency's. These guys jam hard and I'm looking foreword to anything else they release.

Zac Harmon - The Blues According to Zacaria

Expect nothing but some straight blues here, Zac Harmon is a blues-man hailing from Jackson, Mississippi. This album is a pretty typical 'clean blues' album, filled with tons of soul. Don't expect any thing dirty or gritty such as some R.L. Burnside works, but instead some good classic blues done by one of the best in the field today. It should also be noted that he slays live. He blew The Nighthawks, Blood Sweat and Tears, and Jonny Lang out of the water at the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival (whom all put on wonderful shows, mind you).

Them Crooked Vultures - Live at Lowlands, Netherlands

The mighty holy merge of Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal) John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana). This is just a bootleg that you can find on there website, but I've tagged it properly and rared it up in a nice and easy to download package. This shit is sounding awesome, and the album is due out later this month (which trust me, you'll see it up here the day I find that shit).

Eagles of Death Metal

I bring you the Eagles of Death Metal Discography. They are a pretty bad ass Stonerish Blues/Rock group featuring Mr. Josh Homme. I'm putting this one up mainly for Miles because I feel its unforgivable to have a tattoo of Homme on his arm, and not have ANY of this shit on his computer. Bad Miles, bad...

I suggest this to any one who likes Queens of the Stone Age, Blues, Classic Rock, and boogiein'!

Get this shit, now

Lionize - Space Pope and the Glass Machine

If you like Clutch and Sublime then I highly suggest this band. Lionize is a really jammy rock/reggae band from the washington/Maryland area. Me and Miles saw them live with Clutch in August, and they own live. Tim Sult of Clutch even plays with them live some times.

Space Pope steels your soul.

Queens of the Stone Age - Live on easter 2005, 9:30 club

"I can't wash you off my skin... come on man, come on...
Outside the frame, YOU IN GREY TSHIRT! I saw you, you fucking pussy!
You won't remember anyway, I will fuck you in the ass you bitch!
I can go with the flow"

"I know Nicks gone, but I'll still fuck you in the ass, hes my friend not yours"

This is a pretty good quality boot leg from Miles first Queens of the Stone Age show, on Easter of 2005. It has some pretty fumy Homme moments, and they put on a very good show. I suggest this to any Queens fan.

Earth - The Bee's Made Honey In The Lions Skull

Earth - The Bee's Made Honey In The Lions Skull.

This is Miles, over on Coppage's account.
He was already logged in and I was way way too lazy to change that.

Anyway this is Earth, and they are the greatest drone band to ever form.
They aren't nearly as heavy as Sunn 0)),
In fact they are by far the prettiest music and most thought provoking music
I have ever heard.
Check it.

The Dead Weather

Fresh off the presses, I bring you The Dead Weather. Featuring vocalist Alison Mosshart (of The Kills), drummer and vocalist Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), guitarist Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) and bassist Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes). This is some good stuff, expect fuzzy, grooving riffs, nice vocals all done in a nice, bluesy manner. This album is brand new, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. Especially if your a fan of anything Jack White Related.

Clutch - Slow Hole to China

"The swinging of its censers, the silence of its members
Oh, the Guild of Mute Assassins"

Clutch is the shit, you should know this by now. If you don't then I fear there may be no hope for you, because real men know that Willie Nelson only smokes killer weed.

The Mist and the Morning Dew

The Mist and the Morning Dew is a female fronted Doom/Folk group from Finland. I ran across this band a while ago when I first got in to Metal. Don't expect chugging riffs and sick solos, they focus more on the atmosphere of the music then any thing. This is there only real release, a self titled EP. My only compliant is that the vocals are really hard to decipher, but in a way, the soft female vocals add to the dream-like atmosphere that they pant.

Enjoy :)

Spleen V.S. Ideal - Souvenirs

http://www.zshare.net/download/544828778d86deef/

Expect some Fuzz, expect some Noise, expect some Jazz.
Don't expect any english vocals.
Spleen VS Ideal is a two piece of a bass/vocalist and and a drummer.
I liked them more then I thought I would.
There is some total Queens of the Stone Age influence there.

White Witch Canyon - White Witch Canyon

Getting high with the Witch again?

White Witch Canyon are pretty sweet.
Fuzzy stoner from CA.
This is one of those bands that for the longest time
the only way I could hear them was to check there Myspace.
This is there first CD, totally give it a listen.

http://www.zshare.net/download/544338825c071e8f/

Oh and if you like it pick it up here.
For $12 dollars you can get a first press release
that is signed by the band.
That's pretty legit to me.

The Black Keys - The Big Come Up

Recorded with equal parts "Broke ass shit" and "Hot ass shit", The Black Keys are a little two piece Blues/Rock group much to the vain of White Stripes, but more straightforward and not as experimental. The songs have a very old school blues feel with a very garage rock sound, I suggest this to any one who likes there music with some damn soul.

Enjoy :)

Down - Nola

Down is a Sludgy/Southern metal group formed in New Orleans, Louisiana by Phil Anselmo who is famous for doing vocals for Pantera. If that turns you off, then belive me when I say this album is better any thing Pantera ever did. Its a non-stop riff fest that will keep your head rocking

Enjoy :)
